Greetings and Welcome. Mokah-Jasmine Johnson is a public figure, motivational speaker, music artist, and successful entrepreneur with a deep commitment to advocating for racial and social justice.

About Me

Mokah is a transformative speaker, music artist, activist, and entrepreneur whose life’s work is rooted in her Jamaican heritage and an unyielding pursuit of equality. Born in Spanish Town, Jamaica, and raised in the United States, she has masterfully blended reggae, hip hop, R&B, and spoken word to create a powerful artistic voice that serves as both a cultural expression and a tool for activism.

Beyond the stage, Mokah is a fearless civil rights activist and nonprofit visionary, dedicated to empowering Black and marginalized communities. As the co-founder and Executive Director of the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement (AADM), she has led initiatives that have sparked systemic change, including ending local cash bail and advocating for anti-discrimination ordinances. Her activism has been recognized on media platforms, and she is a published author of “Spirit of an Activist: Stop Sitting on the Sidelines” and “Let’s Talk About the School-to-Prison Pipeline.”

As a motivational speaker and educator, Mokah brings over 20 years of leadership experience to her work, alongside a Master’s Degree in Education Media Design and Technology. She empowers emerging entrepreneurs, women, and changemakers by merging business strategies with community activism, helping them create sustainable impact. Through her workshops, retreats, and mentorship, she inspires individuals to step into their power, build movements, and transform their communities.
In 2020, Mokah expanded her advocacy into the political arena, running for Georgia House District 117 to champion policies for racial and economic justice. Her bold leadership earned her endorsements from President Barack Obama and Stacey Abrams, cementing her as a force for change.
